Getting our kids back to school can be exciting or daunting. Exciting that our children get to experience a whole new year of learning and growing into themselves, daunting if you face challenges with coordinating school shopping, lunches and the myriad of paper that is coming your way.
We have the tips and tricks that can help you stay organized this fall.
create a command center to keep track of school activities, assignments, sports/dance classes and more.
keep some standard school supplies available all year round, this will minimize the need to shop every time a new item is needed. Include pencils, cap erasers, sharpies, highlighters and pens
keep supplies in a standard area in your home: a container in the pantry or office, a caddy in a playroom or their study space or a designated drawer in an office
Room too small to add large furniture for storage, use stackable plastic storage bins and small containers for extra supplies
encourage journaling and time management with a planner or notebook
this one might be too late for this year, but plan to reuse notebooks, binders and folders from previous years that are in decent condition to save on spending
